More About This Recipe

  • One of my favorite party staples is a buffalo chicken dip recipe. Served with a chicken-flavored cracker, it’s one that I never see leftover at the end of the night. But I always hated the way people had to awkwardly balance their plates and cups while trying to scoop a little deliciousness into their mouths. Then it hit me! Put the dip in a pastry and — wonder twins activate — you’ve got yourself an appetizer that will work with you and your social grace. That’s how I came up with, what I like to call, Chicken In a Basket. Now, I won’t lie, it does get a little messy but it’s still easy to make. But, trust me when I say it's worth it. Once you have all your baskets made, Bake in oven for 15 to 20 or until crescent is a golden brown color. Remove and let sit for about 5 minutes before serving. They will be warm, gooey and delicious for your guests. And there you have it, a chick-a-lickin’ good appetizer! Enjoy.
