Spicy skillet dinner ready in 30 minutes! Enjoy tangy beans and tomatoes chili – a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

large onion, chopped (1 cup)

garlic cloves, minced

(15-oz.) cans black beans, drained, rinsed

(28-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up

(14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained

chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (from 7 or 11-oz. can), finely chopped

teaspoons dried oregano leaves

teaspoon cumin

Directions

  • 1 Spray nonstick Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. Add onion and garlic; cover and cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes to blend flavors, stirring occasionally.
Tips  

Set out bowls of shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions and chopped fresh tomatoes, and let everyone at the table personalize their own bowl of chili.
