    Ingredients

    • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Directions

    1. 1Pre-heat oven to 375° and set aside two un-greased cookie sheets.
    2. 2Place butter in a small bowl and melt butter in the microwave. Next allow the melted butter to cool completely.
    3. 3In a large bowl combine flour, and powdered sugar.
    4. 4Once butter is cool add your vanilla extract and then combine your butter and flour mixture.
    5. 5Stir in chocolate chips and then using either your hands or a baking scoop (which I recommend the latter for ease) create small roughly 1-inch balls from the dough. Place in rows on your cookie sheets.
    6. 6Using a fork lightly pressed down on your cookie dough balls to flatten slightly.
    7. 7Bake for 12 minutes, edges should be lightly browned.
    8. 8Cool on wire racks and enjoy.

It says one cup of mini chips, but the picture shows many more packed into those cookies.
