Ingredients

egg whites

cups sweetened flaked coconut
2/3
cup sugar
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon clear vanilla
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/4
to 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 325°F. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix all ingredients, blending well. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by teaspoonfuls.
  • 3 Bake 18 to 20 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
Tips  

Use clear vanilla extract to keep the macaroons pearly white.
