This creamy heart-shaped dessert takes only 10 minutes to put together!

Ingredients

Cheesecloth
1
cup whipping (heavy) cream
1/2
cup sour cream
1/4
cup sugar
1
tablespoon grated lemon peel
1
package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1
cup strawberries, cut in half

Directions

  • 1 Line 3-cup heart mold (with holes) with cheesecloth.
  • 2 Beat whipping cream in chilled medium bowl on high speed until stiff. Stir remaining ingredients except strawberrries in large bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
  • 3 Spoon mixture into mold. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours.
  • 4 Unmold onto serving plate; remove cheesecloth. Garnish with strawberries.
Tips  

You can find the pretty heart-shaped mold in specialty cooking stores.

If you wish, use a 6-inch strainer lined with a coffee filter or double-thickness cheesecloth instead of the mold. Place the strainer over a bowl before filling it with the ingredients.

The reason for using a mold with holes is so liquid that seeps out of the cheese mixture as it sets has a way to drain away. Set the mold in a larger pan or on a plate to keep drips off the shelves in your fridge.
