Ingredients

  • 1/2  cup chopped pecans
  • 1  package Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2  cup cold coffee
  • 1  (8-oz.) carton plain yogurt
  • 3  eggs
  • FILLING
  • 1/2  cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4  cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4  cup chopped dates
  • 2  tablespoons flour
  • 2  teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2  tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 12-cup fluted tube or 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans evenly in bottom of pan. In large bowl, combineremaining cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes athighest speed. Pour half of batter carefully over pecans in pan. In smallbowl, combine all filling ingredients until well mixed. Sprinkle evenly overbatter; spread remaining batter over filling.

  2. Bake at 350°F. for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center

  3. comes out clean. Cool upright in pan 25minutes; invert onto serving plate.

  4. Serve warm or cool.
