Ingredients

  • 1/4  cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2  cup chopped onion
  • 1/2  cup chopped celery
  • 3  cups corn bread crumbs
  • 2  cups dry bread cubes
  • 2  tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2  to 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crumbled
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 1  cup chicken broth
  • 1  egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 9-inch square pan. Melt margarine in small skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and celery; cook and stir until tender. In medium bowl, combine cooked onion and celery with all remaining ingredients; mix well. Place into greased pan.

  2. Bake at 400°F. for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
