Like a lot of cooks, you probably tweak recipes slightly to suit your family's tastes and diets. A little extra spice here... sub low-fat sour cream there...

Remove cooked crab meat from shell. Spray inside of 1- to 2 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except crab meat, almonds and crackers in small bowl until well blended. Stir in crab meat. Spoon into slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low heat setting 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve warm with crackers. Dip will hold up to 3 hours.
