An easy main-dish meal that includes chicken, vegetables and potatoes. It’s hearty enough for the whole family!

Ingredients

cup water
2/3
cup milk
1
package Betty Crocker™ mashed potatoes and roasted chicken gravy mix
2
cups chopped cooked chicken or 1 package (9 ounces) frozen diced cooked chicken, thawed
2
cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained

Directions

  • 1 Heat water and milk to boiling in 10-inch skillet over high heat. Stir in 1 packet Gravy Mix with wire whisk until smooth. Stir in chicken and and vegetables; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 Reduce heat to medium-high; cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Cover and remove from heat.
  • 3 While chicken and vegetables are simmering, make potatoes for 4 servings. Serve chicken mixture over potatoes.
Tips  

Chopped cooked turkey can easily be used instead of the chicken.

For Creamed Chicken and Vegetables à la King, add 1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup), 1 cup sliced mushrooms and 1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained, with the vegetables.
