    Ingredients

    • 1/2  cup butter or margarine
    • 1  cup packed dark brown sugar
    • 1/4  teaspoon salt
    • 1/4  cup milk
    • 2  cups powdered sugar

    Directions

    1. 1Heat butter, brown sugar and salt to boiling in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in milk. Heat to boiling over medium heat. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth and spreadable. If frosting is too stiff, stir in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time.
