Creamy Parmesan sauce coats tortellini, ham and broccoli in this dish that's ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1
package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
1
tablespoon olive oil
1
medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2
cups cubed (1/2 inch) cooked ham
2
cups frozen chopped broccoli (from 1-lb bag)
1
cup whipping cream
1/4
cup shredded Parmesan cheese (1 oz)

Directions

  • 1 Cook and drain tortellini as directed on package.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
  • 3 Stir in ham and broccoli. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 Stir in cream and cheese. Heat just to boiling over high heat. Stir in tortellini. Reduce heat to medium; simmer uncovered 4 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Tips

You could substitute cubed cooked turkey or chicken for the ham.

Serve with crusty French or Italian bread, with extra-virgin olive oil on the side for Italian-style dipping.
