Like a lot of cooks, you probably tweak recipes slightly to suit your family's tastes and diets. A little extra spice here... sub low-fat sour cream there...

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in bottom of a crockpot.
2 cans of soup with broth and mix well. add garlic powder. p
pour soup mixture over chicken.
cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3.
15 minutes before done remove chicken and add softened cream cheese in chucks. Whisk until the sauce is smooth. (I usually shred or chop the chicken at this point, but you can leave it whole too). I taste it to check the seasoning and adjust accordingly.
Serve over hot rice or egg noodles.

I can't wait to try this! It sounds like Pollo a la Crema at my favorite Mexican restaurant. If it is even close I will love it.
