Cucumbers In Sour Cream

Try a new variety of cucumber. English or hothouse cucumbers are burpless cukes that are virtually seedless. They have a delicate flavor and can grow up to two feet long.

For just 2 cucumbers, cut the recipe in half.

If you substitute the vinegar for a fresh juicy lemon it would taste almost like a greek yogurt or tziki sauce. (Sorry for the spelling)

Hungarian salad variationwe make has no dill, but instead a minced garlic clove. Garnish with a red or green pepper ring thinly sliced and also paprika sprinkled on top. I enjoy it a bit sweeter, so I like a smidge more sugar. Yumm with turkey dinner.
