4 medium (4 cups) cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
cup vinegar
cup water
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill weed or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon sugar
Dash pepper


  • 1 Place cucumbers in medium bowl; sprinkle with salt. Add vinegar and water;stir. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally; drain well. In smallbowl, combine sour cream, dill weed, sugar and pepper; stir into cucumbers.Store in refrigerator.
