Chocolate lovers, beware. These chocolaty treats have everything you ever wished for in a bar.

Ingredients

box (18.3 oz) Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box

cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting (from 16-oz container)

cup REESE'S™ Pieces™ peanut butter candy in a crunchy shell

cups Count Chocula™ cereal

cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/3
cups (8 oz) semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil; spray cooking spray on bottom only of foil.
  • 2 Make and bake brownies as directed on box for 9-inch pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost brownies with frosting. Sprinkle with peanut butter candies; refrigerate while making cereal mixture.
  • 3 In medium bowl, measure 3 cups of the cereal; set aside. In 1-quart saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Pour over cereal in bowl, stirring until evenly coated. Spread over frosted brownies.
  • 4 Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cereal, slightly pressing on top. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until set before cutting. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.

These bars are best cut when cold. Store bars tightly covered in refrigerator.
