  • 4  eggs, hard-cooked, mashed
  • 1  (2 1/4-oz.) can deviled ham
  • 3  tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1  teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2  teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4  teaspoon onion powder
  • 8  slices rye or pumpernickel bread
  • 1  medium green pepper, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, combine eggs, deviled ham, mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard and onion powder; blend well. Spread each of 4 slices of bread with 1/4 of the egg mixture; top each with green pepper slices and another slice of bread.
