    Ingredients

    • 1 5.1 oz box vanilla instant pudding, prepared per package directions
    • red, yellow, blue, green and purple liquid food coloring
    • whipped topping and rainbow sprinkles, for garnish

    Directions

    1. 1Separate the prepared pudding into 6 individual bowls.
    2. 2Add 2 drops of food coloring to each bowl to make the rainbow colors. For orange, use one drop yellow and one drop red.
    3. 3Layer the pudding by adding 2 tbsp of the first pudding color into four small, thin parfait glasses (about 8 oz volume works well). Tap the bottom of your parfait glass gently on the counter after each layer to make the layer flatten. Repeat with remaining pudding colors.
    4. 4Refrigerate per the pudding package directions, until fully set.
    5. 5Immediately before serving, top with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

Hi @JoyfulNoiseMinistries - Instead of choosing the print option from your toolbar, click the print button within the recipe. It is located next to the save button above. This should open a new window with the recipe, minus comments. Then, click the print button at the top of this new window.

Piping it in just put pudding in a zip log Baggie cut the point off one end of the Baggie. Just a little snip. Squish the pudding down into the glass by writing the letter "o" in the bottom of the glass and fill it in. Then do another bag with another color. Easy brezzey.

How do you use a piping tip or bag to make the lines clean? New to this and not really sure what that means. Can someone elaborate?

I used a piping bag with a large wide tip. I also used electric food coloring and the colors were so cool looking. Here is the place I bought the colors, they were very inexpensive http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/cute/1/7/57883//

If u use a pastry bag to do the layering it is much easier. If u don't have one you can use zip lock bags and just clip the corners off. Don't cut the hole to big or it is still messy! :) hope that helps!

I haven't had the chance to make these yet but I'm going to try to layer it with the cheap basters I got from the dollar store. I'm thinking it would be fast and neat. Hope it works

To fill the glass without making a mess on the sides you could use a ziplock baggie with the corner snipped off for each color. That way it won't touch the sides and it would make clean up a breeze. Just toss teh empty bags when your done. :-)

I made this today and it turned out horrible :( I couldn't do the layers nice and neat like yours without it getting all over the sides of the glass. Is there a trick to doing it? I used a different spoon for each color???

neat and easy piping into the cup can be done with a sandwich bag, too. spoon it in, pinch a corner tip closed and snip a small triangle off, and viola--instant piping bag. Just make sure you rinse it clean between layers. (or work straight through the rainbow. lol)

Sure, a vanilla or other light-colored yogurt should work just as well!

Lisacarol: Trick I used for clean lines and little mess... Get the really inexpensive cake decorators set from Wal-mart.. like $5. Use the largest tip for bigger glasses, med tip for smaller glasses. Easy to use!

How do you get the pudding into the glass without smearing it all over the cup? Is there a trick to putting it in there neatly? Mine looks messy and not clean like yours. Is there some sort of a trick to doing this? Thanks!

I did this with my niece yesterday and she loved it. instead of 2 drops i had to add 4 of each color. I used jelly beans as decoration. Here's our pics if you want to see. <a href=http://s574.photobucket.com/albums/ss185/SharonUSA/my%20niece%20and%20i%20made%20rainbow%20pudding/>Pics here </a>
