    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion (or garlic) powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    • 3 cups milk
    • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
    • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

    Directions

    1. 1Spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray. In large saucepan, combine flour, salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Add milk and stir with whisk until there are no lumps.
    2. 2Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in cheese until mixture is smooth, then add macaroni.
    3. 3Pour into crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.

    I only cooked this for an hour and a half on low and the edges were all browned and smelled like it was burning. It is so dry!!

    Hi there! This recipe calls for uncooked macaroni. The macaroni should be stirred into the cheese mixture in the saucepan prior to transferring it to the crockpot.
