  • 1/2 (15-ounce) can Muir Glen™ organic pizza sauce
  • 1 cup part-skim shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza. Top with pineapple and ham.

Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 4-5 minutes until slicing and serving.

More About This Recipe

  • Pizza nights are always a big hit in my house – and if it’s homemade pizza, it’s all the better. This recipe for homemade Hawaiian Pizza isn’t just tasty, it’s extra easy too.

To make this, I tried Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust (shout out to the fine folks at General Mills for hooking me up with this), which can be found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. It’s super easy and requires next to no prep (unless you count rolling it out onto the baking sheet). Using this easy dough makes it all a cinch.

Next comes the sauce, mozzarella cheese, pineapple and ham. Then you bake. It takes maybe 20 minutes in all. Heck, that’s faster than ordering from our favorite pizza place in town.

What my family and I love about Hawaiian Pizza is how the sweet and savory mix and mingle. It’s a great combination: sweet, slightly tangy pineapple and savory, slightly sweet ham.

As for the Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust, this was my first time trying it and I was really pleased with the results. Though making our own dough allows us great flexibility in the flavors and shape, this dough makes homemade pizza easy enough for any night of the week – including the super busy ones.
