    Ingredients

    • 1 lb ground pork (ground chicken or turkey is ok too)
    • 1 package wonton wrappers
    • 1-2  chopped green onions
    • 1 package broccoli cole slaw mix (can be found in produce section)
    • 3 Tbsp soy suace
    • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp ground ginger
    • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1-2 cups chicken broth
    • 3 - 4 Tbsp oil (any kind is fine)
    • 2  eggs
    • 3 tsp fresh cilantro (dry is fine too)

    Directions

    1. 1Chop green onions
    2. 2Add chopped green onions, cilantro, and package of slaw mix to mini chopper or food processor and chop until fine
    3. 3In a large bowl mix ground pork, veggie mix, one egg, spices, soy and fish sauce.
    4. 4Refrigerate mixture 10-15 minutes
    5. 5Beat egg with a touch of water to seal wantons
    6. 6Add about a tbsp of mixture to center of wonton. (i used the large end of a melon baller and it was the perfect amount) Trace edges of wonton with egg wash. Fold corners of wonton to make a triangle and seal wrapper.
    7. 7Heat oil in a large frying pan. Since there will be a lot pot stickers, you may need to use more than one pan. (or repeat steps 8-11 if they do not all fit into one pan)
    8. 8Place pot stickers into pan (as close as possibly without letting them touch) and let fry over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until bottom is golden brown.
    9. 9Slowly add 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Cover, and let steam for 5 minutes, or until most of the broth has evaporated.
    10. 10Add the rest of the broth and let simmer until all broth is gone. (about 10-15 minutes)
    11. 11Remove from pan and serve hot with desired dipping sauce. These may stick to your pan a little, but there's a reason they're called Pot Stickers.

This is a tasty item. Hanna5032 I must request that you amend two things in this recipe. First you listed the eggs as 22 and there are only 2 eggs used in the whole recipe! Then, at the top of the recipe you list 50 Pot Stickers as the yield of the recipe. It reads as a true possibility as far as quantity is concerned. You listed that the PS goes into one frying pan but not touching. The entire recipe cooks using the 1 cup of Chicken broth. If you have to divide the PS into a couple of pans, do you use another cup of beoth to finish the recipe? The confusion is sad, as the contents read for a delicious end product! I truly hope you will correct these items, or correct me if I am wrong. Thank you very much! They do sound wonderful! YUM. YUM, YUM, YUM, YUM!!!!! [Do you have any particular dipping sauce recipes to recommend?]
