Did you start the year with a healthy resolution? Among my several personal and professional goals for this year is to trim some pounds and be healthier in 2012 than I was in 2011. I am a firm believer that doing better than you did the previous year is the best resolution you can make!
But one of the biggest obstacles to any healthy resolution for me is my enormous sweet tooth. I love sweets. Like really love them. When evening rolls around, after dinner and the kids’ bedtime, I just want something sweet.
But let’s face it. If I actually gave in every time I wanted a sweet, I would have no hope of being healthy. Ever. Well, unless that sweet is of the lighter and more nutritionally sound variety … like my Raspberry Chocolate Parfait
This is a super easy treat – ready in five minutes or less. Just layer Yoplait Whips Raspberry yogurt with chopped dark chocolate (high in antioxidants!) in a parfait dish. Then top it with fresh raspberries.
It’s perfect. It’s pretty. And it totally takes care of that sweet craving.
