    Ingredients

    • 1 lb salmon fillets (about 4 - 4 oz pieces)
    • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
    • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions

    1. 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray an oven-safe pan with cooking oil.
    2. 2Rinse the salmon in cool water and pat dry. Place into the prepared pan. Drizzle with olive oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Lay a sprig of thyme over each piece.
    3. 3Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.

    Salmon cooked this way is delicious! The trick is to cook it quickly, no more than 20 minutes for thick fillets. Parchment paper can also be used with success.
