    Ingredients

    • 2  cups uncooked elbow macaroni (7 ounces)
    • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
    • 2 1/2  cups shredded or cubed Sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 3  eggs
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1  (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
    • 1/4  cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
    • 1/2  teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup whole milk
    • 1/2  teaspoon ground mustard
    • 1/2  teaspoon black pepper

    Directions

    1. 1Boil the macaroni in water for six minutes. Drain.
    2. 2In a medium saucepan, mix butter, flour and cheese. Stir until the cheese melts.
    3. 3In slow cooker, combine the mixture of cheese and add the eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper. Add the drained macaroni and mix thoroughly.
    4. 4Cook in slow cooker on low for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

    To add to the last post....I was wondering the same. Couldnt you just add the uncooked pasta in the slow cooker and still come out good. I would think the pasta would be over cooked at this point. But it does sound very good.

    Sorry - but this seems like a bit of a waste - first boiling the pasta and then cooking it for 2h in the crock pot verus other recipes that only have it in the over for 20 minutes. I could see this working if you were just throiwng uncooked pasta and ingredients in, but does this really save time and energy?
