More About This Recipe

  • A simple take on a classic dish, these easy stuffed cabbage rolls skip the majority of the pre-cooking and roll everything up before baking together in the oven. While other recipes require boiling the cabbage ahead of time in salted water, a quick trip in the microwave works wonders for softening the leaves so that they can be wrapped around the meat and rice filling. Make sure the cabbage you buy is fresh, firm and has no wilting leaves. And even though these rolls are stuffed with ground beef, other meats like ground pork, lamb or turkey can be used as well. This hearty, comfort food dish is so good, it’s going to roll its way straight into your regular rotation of favorite dinner recipes.
