Edible Stilettos

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original Yogurt fruit-flavored
  • Decorations fruit for (strawberries, raspberries, grapes)
  • white (optional) chocolate, sprinkles, Betty Crocker™ black decorating gel
  • cookie stiletto cutter (see note)

Steps

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    In a large bowl, stir in the flour with the cookie mix. Add butter and egg and mix until mixture forms a soft dough.

    Roll dough out on a floured surface to desired thickness (from 1/4 to 1/2 inch). Cut with stilleto cookie cutter and place one inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake for 5-7 minutes or until edges are light brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.

    Once cookies have cooled, spread about 1 Tablespoon yogurt over the cookie as the frosting. If you want to outline the cookie with black decorating gel trace the outside of the cookie with it.

    For the edible bling: Melt white chocolate in a microwave safe container for 30 seconds in the microwave or until melted. (Do not over cook.) Stir until smooth. Dip fruit in melted chocolate and cover in sprinkles. Place decorated fruit on the shoe cookies to make one-of-a-kind designer cookies!

    Store cookies in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
