More About This Recipe

  • I will admit that I am not an eggnog person.

Well, that’s not totally true. I don’t like eggnog, as eggnog. But you put it in a latte, cookie, cake, and now a Eggnog Jelly Shot and I love it. I still to this day, I am not sure why. So I was a little nervous to make jelly shots out of it.

This is just a fun way to serve this holiday favorite. Since there are so few ingredients to this, if you don’t like eggnog flavor, you may want to check out different jelly shots. If you do love eggnog, then these will rock your party - BIG TIME!

Just a few ingredients, some chill time, and you have a festive holiday jelly shot.

    To make the shots:

Spray the mold pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place the mold pan on a cookie sheet for stability.

Combine the eggnog and the gelatin in a medium saucepan. Allow the gelatin to bloom for 1 to 2 minutes.

Over low heat, stir the gelatin mixture with a whisk for about 5 minutes or until the gelatin has completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bourbon.

Fill each mold cavity with the eggnog gelatin mixture. Put into fridge and let set up for 2 hours.

Decorate with whipped cream, a pinch of nutmeg, and holly-shaped cookie decorations.

For your next holiday party, serve your 'nog – jelly shot style!
