What makes this different from the original chocolate chip cookie recipe?

Outstanding recipe! They use original ingredients, from beginning to the end. The entire combination is stirred with a spoon - not an electric mixer, The cookies are delicious because they are 'seriously original'. There is no attempt to pretend that they have a 'unique' basis (from a magic mix), that they will be the best you can bake from the honest effort of using an electric mixer to combine the variety of extra ingredients. My point is that until the mid-to-late 1950's there were; #1) No electric mixers strong enough to beat anything as thick/dense as pie crust or/ cookie-cake-bread dough. #2) There were no recipes written for the average home cook to create - using anything other than by hand, with a spoon and a good sized bowl. It is important to recall that every individual crossing the American Continent in a Conestoga Wagon - had to cook with a bowl-spoon-barrels of flour-recipes learned from relatives/friends/former employers and cooked over 'campfires'. Through the centuries the greatest Chefs, with the finest kitchens &/or assistants, they still had to use great personal skills/strengths to create their delicious dishes! The cookies in this recipe shall taste marvelous - as their predecessors did with their recipes a 100 years ago (allowing for Hershey to develop Chocolate - that could be chopped to make pieces to bake cookies with). It must turn out well - thanks to a full recipe using all the ingredients listed by Gold Medal Flour! It is wise for every cook to know - 'exactly' the total list of all their ingredients in baking a final product WITHOUT any preservatives! It will produce a fantastic list of recipes in their personal "Recipe Boxes"! Congratulations on these future recipes!!!
