With Bisquick® mix, you don't need to prebake the crust of this pleasing cheesy pizza.

Ingredients

1 1/2
cups Original or Reduced Fat Bisquick™ mix
1/3
cup very hot water
1/2
cup pizza sauce
1/2
teaspoon Italian seasoning
2
cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
5
slices (3/4 oz each) reduced-fat American cheese

Directions

  • 1 Move oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 450°F. Spray 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and very hot water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Press dough in pizza pan, using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix; pinch edge to form 1/2-inch rim. Spread pizza sauce over dough. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and mozzarella cheese.
  • 3 Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • 4 Cut American cheese slices into desired shape with 2-inch cookie cutters. Arrange shapes on pizza. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until American cheese is melted.
Tips

Get personal. Let each family member add their favorite toppings to their section of the pizza, and bake as directed.

Top hot pizza with shredded lettuce, crumbled cooked bacon and chopped fresh tomatoes for a BLT pizza.
