Enjoy these classic canapés made using Original Bisquick® mix and garnished with green onions – perfect appetizer to serve a crowd.

Ingredients

1
cup Original Bisquick™ mix
1/4
cup water
1/2
cup finely chopped shaved turkey (3 ounces)
1/2
cup finely chopped shaved honey ham (3 ounces)
1/3
cup chutney
3
to 4 tablespoons whipping (heavy) cream
1/2
teaspoon curry powder
1/4
cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4
cup chopped dry-roasted peanuts
Sliced green onions or fresh chives, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°. Spray bottom and sides of square pan, 8x8x2 inches, with cooking spray.
  • 2 Stir Bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously with spoon 20 seconds. Pat dough in pan, using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until crust begins to brown around edges.
  • 3 Mix remaining ingredients except cheese, peanuts and green onions. Spread mixture over baked crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cheese is melted. For canapés, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Sprinkle with peanuts; garnish with green onions. Serve warm.
Tips

Keep things simple by buying shaved turkey and ham from the deli when you want to whip up these super-easy appetizers. The chutney, curry and peanuts team up to give you the exotic flavors of Asia in one small bite.
