These quick party appetizers feature sweet figs and savory Parmesan - a delicious flavor pairing.

Ingredients

1
can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
2
tablespoons butter, softened
1/4
cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese (1 oz)
1/4
cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2
teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1/4
cup fig preserves
1
teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375ºF. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • 2 Remove dough from can; do not unroll. Cut dough into 12 (1/2-inch) slices. Place on cookie sheet. In small bowl, stir together butter, cheese, walnuts and pepper. Spread about 1 1/2 teaspoons mixture on each dough round.
  • 3 Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes.
  • 4 In small bowl, mix preserves and thyme. Remove rounds from cookie sheet to serving plate; top each with about 1 teaspoon preserves mixture. Serve warm.
Tips

If you can't find the dough sheet, use Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls. Seal the perforations.
