Ingredients

5
frozen crisp battered fish fillets
1
can (10.2 oz.) large refrigerated buttermilk homestyle biscuits (5 biscuits)
1/2
cup sandwich spread, mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 1/4
cups shredded lettuce
5
slices Canadian bacon
5
slices American cheese
5
thin slices tomato

Directions

  • 1 In 15x10-inch pan or on large cookie sheet, prepare fish fillets as directed on package, except during last 15 minutes of baking, reduce oven temperature to 375°F.
  • 2 Remove fish from oven. Move fish to one side of pan. Separate dough into 5 biscuits; place 1 inch apart in same pan.
  • 3 Return pan to oven; bake at 375°F. for 11 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and fish is thoroughly heated.
  • 4 Split warm biscuits; spread each biscuit half with sandwich spread. Top bottom halves of biscuits with lettuce, Canadian bacon, fish fillet, cheese and tomato. Cover with top halves of biscuits.
Tips

Not in the mood to wash the pan? It won't be necessary if you line it with heavy-duty foil before baking the fish and biscuits
