    Ingredients

    • 10 ounces vodka
    • 10 ounces coconut rum
    • 6 ounces Blue Curacao liqueur
    • 12 ounces sweet-and-sour mix
    • 20 ounces pineapple juice
    • 32 ounces lemon- lime soda
    • blue food coloring, if desired
    • 3  small fishbowls (each holding 4-5 cups volume)
    • 1 box (6 oz) Nerds candy
    • 12-16 Swedish fish candies
    • ice
    • fruit slices (3 each, lemon, lime and orange)
    • 9 drinking straws

    Directions

    1. 1Mix liquors, sweet-and-sour mix, pineapple juice and soda in a large container. Cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve
    2. 2To serve, divide the Nerds candy between the three fishbowls and place at the bottom of the bowl.
    3. 3Add ice. Arrange the fish around the outside of the fishbowls - use the ice to hold them against the sides.
    4. 4Carefully add the punch mixture, dividing equally. Top with the fruit slices and straws.
    5. 5Top with a little lemon-lime soda, for bubbly-ness.
    6. 6Enjoy!
    7. 7P.S.: To make this for the kiddos, just leave out the alcohol and replace with more soda.

You can get any variety you like, @Anonymous — check the alcohol section at your fave local grocer for options. :)

Once you add the ice to the fishbowl, you're going to want to place the Swedish fish between the ice and the sides of the fishbowl. The ice should hold the fish against the sides of the fishbowl. I hope that clears things up, @Anonymous!

Prices will depend on the kinds of ingredients you buy and where you buy them, @Anonymous. You can check your local grocery store for prices.

Should the sweet & sour mix be a liquid sour mix, or powder sour mix (like Bar-Tender's Instant Whiskey Sour Mix)? Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous! As long as each of your three fishbowls can accommodate 4-5 cups of volume, you're all set (small ones should do) OR you could make one giant bowl that contains 12-15 cups. ;)

Hi! You can make a non-alcoholic version of this recipe by substituting the alcohol with more soda, orange sorbet, and artificial coconut extract (optional).

Hi Kasiealock - We like the coconut rum and pineapple juice, because it gives it a "tropical" taste. You might try substituting the coconut rum for a golden rum and the pineapple juice for another tropical juice, like guava or mango.
