A simple French dip sandwich is perfect for time-crunched dinners.

Ingredients

2
cups Progresso™ beef-flavored broth (from 32-inch carton)
8
oz thinly sliced cooked deli roast beef
1
can (12 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands ®! Big & Flaky crescent dinner rolls

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, heat broth over medium heat to a simmer. Cut beef into 1-inch-wide strips.
  • 2 Bake crescent rolls as directed on can.
  • 3 Two minutes before rolls are done baking, add beef strips to broth; cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • 4 With serrated knife, split crescent rolls. With tongs, remove beef from broth; fill each crescent roll with beef. Serve sandwiches with remaining broth for dipping.
Tips

Allow the broth to reduce for a heartier-flavored dip.

As the deli beef is already cooked, it simply needs to warm up in the broth. Avoid overcooking it to keep it tender.
