Chunky salsa, sour cream and guacamole are good dipping choices for these south-of-the-border appetizers.

Ingredients

1
(16-oz.) can refried beans
1
(1.25-oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
2
(8-oz.) cans Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
4
oz. hot pepper Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 2 1/2x1/2x1/4-inch strips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 2 cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine refried beans and taco seasoning mix; mix well.
  • 2 Separate dough into 16 triangles. Spread each with about 2 tablespoons bean mixture. Place cheese strip on shortest side of each triangle. Roll up, starting at shortest side, gently rolling dough around filling and rolling to opposite point. Place on sprayed cookie sheets.
  • 3 Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 17 minutes or until golden brown, switching position of cookie sheets halfway through baking. Serve warm.
