Skip the mess of measuring mixing! Start with Create 'n Bake™ cookies and you'll be ready to decorate jolly snowmen in no time!

Ingredients

1
(16.5 oz) roll Pillsbury™ refrigerated sugar cookies
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2
cups vanilla ready-to-spread frosting
1
to 2 teaspoons red food color
1/4
cup miniature candy-coated chocolate baking bits
20
pieces candy corn
Decorating gel (from 0.68-oz tube)
20
miniature candy canes, broken in half

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Remove cookie dough from wrapper.
  • 2 On lightly floured surface, knead flour into dough. Roll out half of dough at a time to 1/4-inch thickness. Keep remaining dough refrigerated. Cut with floured snowman cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 4 In small bowl, stir together 1/2 cup of the frosting and the food color. Frost cookies with red and white frostings. Decorate with baking bits for buttons and decor on hat, candy corn for nose, decorating gel for eyes and mouth and candy canes for arms.
Tips

If you have little helpers decorating cookies, cover your work surface with a disposable tablecloth. Once the masterpieces are complete, just fold up the tablecloth and toss.
