Looking for a frozen dessert using fudge brownie mix? Then check out this great chocolate sundae – perfect for a treat.

Ingredients

BROWNIE

1
box (19.8 ounces) fudge brownie mix
1/2
cup vegetable oil
1/4
cup water
2
eggs

TOPPING

1
carton (1/2 gallon) chocolate chip-mint ice cream (8 cups), slightly softened
24
thin rectangular green and chocolate creme de menthe candies
1
jar (12 ounces) hot fudge ice cream topping

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients. Beat 50 strokes with spoon. Spread in greased pan. Bake at 350°F for 33 to 35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool completely.
  • 2 Spread softened ice cream evenly over cooled brownies. Place in freezer until firm, about 4 hours.
  • 3 Just before serving, remove from freezer to soften slightly, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, unwrap candies, set aside. In medium microwavable bowl, heat ice cream topping in microwave on High heat 30 to 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until thin enough to drizzle.
  • 4 Cut brownies into 6 rows by 4 rows; place on individual serving plates. Top each serving with ice cream topping and candy.
