Here´s a great gift for kids to take home after a winter party. Fruit-flavored gelatin adds color and flavor to these popcorn balls; choose your favorite flavor.

Ingredients

cups popped popcorn
1/3
cup sugar
1
(3-oz.) pkg. fruit-flavored gelatin
2
tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2
cup margarine or butter
1/8
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon baking soda
1/4
cup gummi bear candies

Directions

  • 1 MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Place popcorn in large microwave-safe bowl. In 4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, combine sugar, gelatin, corn syrup, margarine and salt. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir; microwave on HIGH for an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Stir in baking soda. Immediately pour over popcorn mixture; mix well. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Cool 2 minutes. Stir in gummi bear candies.
  • 2 Using buttered hands, quickly and firmly press mixture into 6 balls. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap.
