    Ingredients

    • 2 (16.3 ounce) Pillsbury Grands! Original Biscuits
    • 3 cups brown sugar
    • 2 1/2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
    • 1 stick butter
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons molasses
    • sprinkles (for garnish)
    • gingerbread marshmallows (optional)

    Directions

    1. 1Open the Pillsbury Grands! biscuits. Use a sharp knife or pair of kitchen scissors and slice each biscuit into four pieces.
    2. 2In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Toss the biscuits into the brown sugar mixture.
    3. 3Spray a bundt cake pan with nonstick baking spray. Place the sugar-coated biscuits into the baking pan.
    4. 4In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the remaining brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, milk, and molasses. Stir together until boiling, then pour the caramel mixture over the biscuits in the bundt pan.
    5. 5Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until the top biscuits are golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 3-5 minutes, then invert quickly onto a large plate.
    6. 6Sprinkle with colored sprinkles, if desired. Press gingerbread shaped marshmallows around your monkey bread, if desired, before serving. Pull apart and enjoy!

Hi gwashington1961 - These gingerbread shaped marshmallows are seasonal and can be found at many grocery stores. Feel free to use whatever marshmallow that you have available.

This is an enormous loaf of brown sugar basted biscuits. When it is done from the oven, you are called on to dress it with colored sprinkles and gingerbread shaped marshmallows. Please forgive my ignorance, but where do you acquire such marshmallows? I can imagine many other uses for such marshmallows - they are truly cute. I have to think such a loaf of bread would serve well, post the Thanksgiving Feast! It would give children, and grandchildren many happy thoughts getting ready to help bake Christmas cookies and candies. The gingerbread monkey bread will inspire young creative minds to dream of Holiday treats for others they offer gifts to.

Way too much brown sugar, followed recipe to a "T". Definitely cut down on the brown sugar.
