Gingerbread Monkey Bread

gingerbread
marshmallows (optional)
sprinkles
(for garnish)
2
tablespoons molasses
1/4
cup milk
1
stick butter
2 1/2
tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
3
cups brown sugar
2
(16.3 ounce) Pillsbury Grands! Original Biscuits

Directions

  • 1 Open the Pillsbury Grands! biscuits. Use a sharp knife or pair of kitchen scissors and slice each biscuit into four pieces.
  • 2 In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Toss the biscuits into the brown sugar mixture.
  • 3 Spray a bundt cake pan with nonstick baking spray. Place the sugar-coated biscuits into the baking pan.
  • 4 In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the remaining brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, milk, and molasses. Stir together until boiling, then pour the caramel mixture over the biscuits in the bundt pan.
  • 5 Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until the top biscuits are golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 3-5 minutes, then invert quickly onto a large plate.
  • 6 Sprinkle with colored sprinkles, if desired. Press gingerbread shaped marshmallows around your monkey bread, if desired, before serving. Pull apart and enjoy!

Gingerbread Monkey Bread

As prepared by Cheeky Kitchen

Monkey Bread is everyone's fave snack or breakfast treat -- and this version has its holly jolly on just in time for the holidays!

Monkey Bread, with its cinnamon-caramel flavor and super crowd friendly finger-snacking style, is a vintage classic for breakfast, brunch, and midnight slumber-party snacks.

Add a little bit of gingerbread and a lot of lovin' with the oven, and you've got a Gingerbread Monkey Bread so good, it will bring the elves out of the hiding places to tell you where all of your Christmas gifts are hidden. Either that, or they'll just sit down, pull up a chair, and be too busy snacking to tell you much of anything.

Regardless, you want this recipe in your house. Now. So here's how to pull it together in two shakes of a candy cane:

Grab a tube of Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits.
