A sweet, buttery and crunchy snack.

Ingredients

1/3
cup butter or margarine
1/2
cup packed brown sugar
4
cups Cheerios™ cereal
1/2
cup gluten-free candy-coated chocolate candies, if desired
1/2
cup raisins

Directions

  • 1 In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
  • 2 Stir in cereal. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until cereal is coated.
  • 3 Spread mixture in thin layer on ungreased cookie sheet. Cool 1 hour. Crumble into bite-size pieces. Stir in raisins and candies. Store in airtight container.
Tips  

Try adding diced dried mixed fruit instead of chocolate candies.
