This sweet snack mix is over-the-top delicious and gluten free!

Ingredients

1
bag Gluten Free Chex™ granola mix honey nut
6
cups lightly salted popped popcorn
1
cup unblanched whole almonds
1/2
cup butter
1/4
cup packed brown sugar
1/4
cup honey
1
cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1 In large microwavable bowl, mix granola, popcorn and almonds.
  • 2 In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter, brown sugar and honey uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until mixture comes to a full boil and butter is melted. Pour over granola mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is well coated and looks glazed.
  • 3 Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool 15 minutes. Place in serving bowl; stir in chocolate chips. Store in airtight container.
Tips

Before measuring the honey, spray the measuring cup with cooking spray; the honey will come out of the cup much easier.

This snack is perfect for lunch boxes when packaged in small resealable food-storage plastic bags.

Always read labels to make sure each recipe ingredient is gluten free. Products and ingredient sources can change.
