Ingredients

  • 6  cups soft bread crumbs (9 slices)
  • 1/4  cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2  teaspoons chopped fresh sage leaves
  • 3/4  teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 1/4  teaspoon pepper
  • 3  Granny Smith apples, chopped (3 cups)
  • 2  medium celery stalks (with leaves), chopped (1 cup)
  • 1  medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4  cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Saute onion and celery in butter with until tender. Place all other ingredients in a large bowl and toss. Pour the buttery onion and celery mixture into the large bowl. Toss again until everything is mixed together.

  2. Stuff the goose with the stuffing or place in a baking dish covered in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until browned.
