Reminiscent of Jolly Breakfast Ring from the Betty Crocker Boys and Girls cookbook of my youth. It had maraschino cherries in the bottom of the ring mold, and we dipped each piece of biscuit in butter then cinnamon sugar. Oh, at the start we put melted butter, brown sugar, and nuts in the pan. A proud start to baking at age 10. My grown kids still remember. Thank you for the wonderful update and reminder. Must put refrigerated biscuits on my grocery list...

This is one of my family's favorite recipes for a weekend breakfast. The kids ask us to leave out the raisins but sometimes we leave them in and they don't seem to notice.
