This sounds like a nice recipe, but the green tea isn't handled properly according to the directions. Boiling water and too long of a steep time makes green tea very bitter and loses its good flavor. For strong tea, more tea bags need to be added, not longer steep time. Also the water shouldn't be boiling because too hot of water makes the tea bitter also. Instead I'd suggest steeping it in water no hotter than 175 degrees F (you can boil the water and then add a 1-2 ice cubes to get it at good temperature), and use 4-5 bags instead of 2. More tea gives stronger flavor, whereas more time/heat only makes it bitter. Also steep it for no more than 2 minutes
