Use your grill for more than just meat! Make these Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on the Grill and rock your world into next month!
Grab a tube of Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crust. This is how it starts, people. Prepare for it. It gets better and better from here.
Unroll the pizza dough onto a piece of parchment paper. Bake it in a hot oven for 6-8 minutes, then slice the cooked dough into 10 even-sized pieces. (Hey, if you want, you can even grill the dough -- just cut it first, place the pieces on low heat until grill marks form, and then keep going!)
Top five of your pizza crust pieces with your favorite grilled cheese toppers. Make it traditional. Go Mediterranean, make a classic ham and tomato grilled cheese. You're
imagination is your only limitation!
Place a second piece of pizza crust on top of each sandwich, spray the top and bottom of each sandwich with nonstick cooking spray, then toss onto a hot grill turned to the lowest heat setting possible. Cover that grill and let your sandwiches cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip and grill on the other side for 2-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve immediately and enjoy the smoky goodness of this classic sandwich made right on the grill!
Or, shall we call it the Grrrrrr…
