    Ingredients

    • Tomato Pistou Sauce (below)
    • 8  boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 1/2 pounds)
    • 2  tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
    • 1 1/2  teaspoons garlic pepper
    • Fresh small basil leaves, if desired

    Directions

    1. 1Make Tomato Pistou Sauce; cover and refrigerate until serving.
    2. 2Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Brush chicken with oil; sprinkle with garlic pepper.
    3. 3Cover and grill chicken 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. Serve chicken with sauce. Garnish with basil.
