Ingredients

tablespoon chili powder

teaspoon ground cumin

teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

large clove garlic, finely chopped

pork loin or rib chops, about 1/2 inch thick (about 2 lb)

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, mix all ingredients except pork; rub evenly on both sides of pork. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
  • 2 Heat gas or charcoal grill. Place pork on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently, until no longer pink in center.
Tips  

To keep food from sticking and to make cleanup a breeze, brush the grill rack with vegetable oil or spritz with cooking spray before heating the grill.
