With ham and cheese, this 40-minute main dish made using Pillsbury® Grands!® Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

1
(15.5-oz.) can Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
8
oz. thinly sliced cooked ham
3
teaspoons Dijon mustard
3
(1-oz.) slices Swiss cheese
1/2
large green and/or red bell pepper, cut into 12 long thin strips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Separate dough into 3 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Cut rectangles in half crosswise to make 6 pieces, each about 5 1/2x4 inches. Place dough pieces on sprayed cookie sheet. Press each to form 5 1/2-inch square.
  • 2 Arrange ham evenly on dough squares, folding under edges of ham as necessary to fit dough. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon mustard onto center of each; spread slightly. Cut cheese slices into quarters, forming 1 1/2-inch squares. Place 2 squares of cheese over mustard and ham on each.
  • 3 With kitchen scissors, cut into each sandwich from each corner to within 1 inch of center. Place 2 bell pepper strips across squares with tips toward points of dough. For each sandwich, fold alternating points to center, overlapping and pressing center to seal. (See diagram.)
  • 4 Bake at 375°F. for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
Tips

Ham and pineapple make a dynamite duo! Try adding a teaspoon or two of crushed pineapple onto each sandwich before folding over the dough.
