    Ingredients

    • 1 cup sliced almonds
    • 1 (5 inch thick) slice of seedless watermelon, rind removed
    • 12 ounces Yoplait vanilla yogurt
    • 1/2 cup blueberries
    • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries

    Directions

    1. 1Toast almonds in a skillet over medium heat for a couple of minutes or until golden. Remove from pan to cool.
    2. 2Cut watermelon into 8 even pie shaped wedges.
    3. 3Dip outside curved edge of watermelon in yogurt then in sliced almonds and place on serving platter in a pie-shaped formation. Repeat with remaining watermelon wedges.
    4. 4Once all of the wedges have been placed in a pie shape, use the remainder of the yogurt to frost the top of the "pie".
    5. 5Place blueberries and sliced strawberries in a decorative pattern on top.
    6. 6Serve immediately or chill until serving.

they have that cream cheese fruit dip you can buy in the fruit section and it is delicious. I think that would be fabulous with this, a little more body than yogurt. Probably a few more calories but this is definitely a super looking fruit dish!

It looks pretty, but the textures might not go well together. Liquid makes yogurt crack and separate, and I don't know how well something dry like a cracker our cookie would go with such a juicy fruit. If that appeals too your palate

I think the pretzels would be good. Although then I think any crumbled cracker or maybe grahams or nilla wafers would be good too.

Anyone have any suggestion on what I could use to replace the almonds? I want to make this recipe but I hate nuts. I was thinking pretzels might be good. Any thoughts?
