    Ingredients

    • 2 pouches Betty Crocker® Sugar Cookie Mix
    • 2  eggs
    • 2/3 cup butter, softened
    • 5 drops each red, green, and brown food coloring

    Directions

    1. 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine cookie mix, butter, and eggs until a soft dough forms.
    2. 2Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Leave one part white. Tint another part pink, one part green, and one part brown.
    3. 3Roll dough on a floured surface until 1/4 inch thick. Cut with hand-shaped cookie cutter then cut out a small heart in the center of each.
    4. 4Place cookies on a cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick spray. Carefully remove the heart center from each cookie and trade it with a cookie of a different color.
    5. 5Bake at 350 degrees F. for 7-9 minutes, until light brown. Cool completely. Can store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
